The Camí dels Bons Homes is a tourist route that follows in the footsteps of Catharism in Catalonia. The route enables you to discover the towns where these so-called Good Men, or Cathars, lived.
You can walk along the 189 Km. of the Camí dels Bons Homes (GR-107 - one of Spain's signposted opping off in the towns along the way, national trails) and follow in the footsteps of the migrating Cathars, visiting the remains of medieval castles, mountain villages, Romanesque churches, and ethnographic museums. If you're lucky, you'll get a chance to see a bearded vulture in flight or catch a glimpse of a chamois high in the mountains.
